I agree with tigerfeet - I would send the forms again as soon as possible.
Looking at other diaries of applying for LILA, it takes a few weeks for a decision to be made, so the sooner you get the forms in the better, I reckon!0 -
I got home and had a letter from AIB (the eqivelent of OR in England) I need to sign a form and return it... I guess Royal Mail screwed up cause they recevied it on the 16th!
Wow, Im so happy! Signed it and will post off tomorrow... Im really tired just now and would have to walk up to the post box. Im 4 weeks and 6 days pregnant and absolutly shattered, at least this is one less thing to worry about!Bankruptcy Supporters Club No.1790 -

Forms sent off today. Another weight off my mind. Every thing seems to be going good today. Co-op account was approved paperwork was sent yesterday! :j
My BF was at the hospital for his MRI results, apparently he doesnt have sciatica afterall! He has been told he has sciatica for the past few years, It all problems with his leg, so he had a huge injection which should help apparently.
I am 5 weeks pregnant today. Last time I lost the baby at 4 weeks 5 days, so I am so glad to be past that point. I feel huge though. Im a size 24 so expected to get away with normal clothes for at least the first 3 months - no such luck, I cant do my trousers up! morning sickness is awful aswell - but I so love being pregnant!
Its my birthday next thursday and I am getting a kitten for my bday, I know I already have enough depenants, but I have suffered alot from depression and this is making me very very happy! :rotfl:
I picked up my maternity pack and need to fill it all in ready for my 1st midwife appiontment, 13th August. Its been so long since i was pregnant, I feel like I have forgotten it all! And my eldest starts school in 4 weeks time. he is so excited its great, I had childminder and after school club booked so it wont affect my work either. :T
Im feeling very positive today, it all semms like it will be okay.Bankruptcy Supporters Club No.1790 -
No news. I think that this is the part that the English bankcrupcy has over the Scottish you can just go to court and do it. here we have to wait for someone else to get around to looking at it and decidewhen they want to take it to court.
It is now close to pay day and I am concerned about my pay. I have my Co-op card, but no pin yet - I am hoping that it will come quickly so that when it is pay day I can leave enough in my bank for DD's to come off on the 1st and then transfer the rest to my new co-op account.
My birthday is on wednesday - part of me thinks that I will go banckrupt on my birthday. It just souds right!Thinking about looking into private accomodation. I am in Council at the minute and whilest I could have problems finding a landlord to accept me, it would be worth while. As I have kids I would be entitled to part of housing benefit. I could get somewhere closer to my work. I dont driveand everything is too faraway, Im at the wrong end of town. Changing jobs isnt an option - especially not now I am pregnant. But life would be so much more liveable if I could move, I have been waiting for over 2 years on the council and they are never going to move me.Bankruptcy Supporters Club No.1790 -

I am glad I could be of some use to someone! The Scottish system isnt anywhere near to be as well known as the english one. Lou Lou has also done a scottish diary, the link is here; http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=920761 And Lou Lou has now been declared bankcrupt where as I am still waiting, so you might like to look on there.Bankruptcy Supporters Club No.1790 -
Got sent my stautary declaration back, saying to tick the boxes and sign it e.t.c, I did that, they return the one that I did that to back to me with a note saying to do it.
I e-mailed them as I cant really phone at work. still no reply. I just returned it to them again, I dont have a clue why they sent it back, they hadnt said I did it wrong, they just sent it like it was a blank one or something.
i know they are busy and everything but still. wouldve been nice to reply to me at least even if it is to just say it was an error. Bankruptcy Supporters Club No.1790 -

Hiya kylie
Sorry to hear that you still don't have a decision.
I'm a bit worried about you not hearing back from your email. I had to phone AIB the other day because OH keeps getting letters from Clydesdale (it was a bit of a palaver - he had to go on the phone to say that it was OK for them to talk to me about his case
. The woman I spoke to was very nice about it though, and quite helpful.).
The point is that she said that the person who I asked for, and whose number I called, wasn't working there anymore. And it's the holiday period too. So if you've sent your email to a 'person' maybe there's no one there to read it!
They've got a helpline email - Helpline@aib.gsi.gov.uk. Maybe you should try emailing them there? I remember that OH had a problem with the statutory declaration. He'd ticked all the boxes, but that meant that he was saying something different from what he'd said on the application form! (His income is more than £220.80 a week, and he got that right on the application. But then on the declaration, because he ticked the all the boxes, he was saying that he had less than that coming in!). It might be something as simple as that...?
Good luck anyway (and I hope you're keeping OK right now)0
