Just purchashed a brand new Dell Laptop and Broadband package with Freedom2Surf, so there shouldn't be anything wrong with corrupted files extra, extra ....!
Microsoft Outlook 2000 will receive emails from my old dial-up ISP i.e. emails ****@freeuk.com, as I've tested this by sending myself an email from FreeUK's WebMail site, but MS Outlook 2000 won't allow me to SEND emails regardless of who the email is registered with i.e. ****@freeuk.com, ****@hotmail.com, ****@yahoo.co.uk etc. etc. etc.
Does anyone know why Outlook 2000 won't send any emails which use any of my email address's?
I'm using LAN or Wireless connections to the Broadband and I've checked my FreeUK email Accounts, and Servers is set to 'POP'; Incoming Mail (POP3) to 'pop.freeuk.net'; Outgoing Mail (SMTP) to 'relay.freeuk.com' and Connection is set to 'Connect using my local area network (LAN)'.

It has taken about 4,500,000,000 (4.5 billion) years for the Earth to form as it is now .........
and it'll only take about another 100 years for mankind to really **** it up!!!!

I've got a problem that's developed today. I have a business and a personal e mail address. For some reason, mail that I have sent today is still sitting in the OUtbox. I have checked the accounts and the test settings works succesfully. Any idea whether these e mails have gone and, if they have, why are they not going from outbox to sent?Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0

probably just a problem with your ISP's mail server at the momentEx forum ambassador
