Hi

I have just bought the Sony Network Walkman HDD NW-HD3 20gb drive from my local argos store in Bridgend today for £109.99. This is a managers special and when I asked there were 32 in stock.

I have been unable to find it on the argos website but it would be worth checking your local argos store or ringing up the Bridgend store to arrange to have one delivered if wanting to buy one.

This seems like a good deal but unfortunately (unless things have changed recently) the store wont post things out or deliver.

I remember calling a branch of Argos miles away from me and practically pleading with them to send me an item...but no joy. They also wont usually transfer it to a store nearer you for pick up either.

Looks like it'll just be the lucky folk near you that'll be able to take advantage of this.

Argos code is 592/6732 Looks like old cat. number....maybe available by ring and reserve?

Mangers special are usually exclusive to certain stores so they will not be available at all stores. It is worth checking or asking your local stores if they have any Manager's Special in stock.

Apparently a Manager's Special are either ex-display or reconditioned. I managed to get a sony camcorder for £75 from £300. That was before I joined MSE or else I would have let everyone know.

I also found out that Argos can't transfer from one store to another because it gets too complicated for them.

Most managers specials are gonna be disapering from the stores soon as the ro stores walsall and corby are getting priority leaving very little stock for any other store.

So I suggest you grab what you can now!

Very True. Argos are not that bothered with RO sales and Managers Specials at stores now.
