Hello
I am looking to get a mattress cleaned
(its been in a garage for the last year or so)
and after a Google search have found this site
https://www.mattressdoctor.net
I wondered if anybody has heard of / used them and would be grateful for any feedback
Or if you have any other suggestions........
many thanks

I've never used the mattress doctor sorry so can't comment on them, but if you or any friends/family have a steam cleaner it may be an idea to give this a go first at least it will save you some money.
I've used mine on the kids mattress' when they we're getting used to sleeping without a nappy and any accidents we're easily cleaned with this and no smell left over.

Whatever you do to it, I'd say that mattress protectors were worth buying and using. Not necessarily the vastly expensive thoroughly anti-allergy ones, but the basic polyester padded ones. They have helped relieve asthma and eczema in this house! And kept the mattresses a bit cleaner, too.Signature removed for peace of mind0
