You've got a spare room? There must be someone out there you can rent a room out to. If you do interview someone nice, this would work for you socially and financially.

I agree that you should probably rent your spare room out, that way you can place the advert & make sure you get the right person to share your house with you. At least then you dont have the upheaval of finding somewhere new, and it will still be "your place"....

I flatshare with 2 girls, and they are lovely, we all get on extremely well & are definately friends now - unfortunately I dont have many friends either, so its nice to have "live in friends", a lot of the time we sit around watching tv, or films/chatting...

How come you will be taking a pay cut? Do you work in Tesco's full time? Could you not find something thats better paid? Am sorry to hear about your ill-health, if you want to chat then PM me...

Do you think you'll be able to live on £40 per month, thats nothing & makes me feel rich on having a £50 a week budget (and even then that feels too little!!!).
