Thread veins

Is there anything I can do about thread veins on legs? Applied some tan cream last night as there are far more veins than I remember!
This seems to help a bit as they don't quite stand out like red and blue on very white tends to,anymore, but I would like to reduce them if possible.
Do any creams help or is it all make-up vs zapping with lasers?
Any ideas?

My friend had hers injected with (I think) saline - don't know how much it set her back!My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I'd love to know of a cheap and cheery way to get rid of thread veins, I've developed some on the end of my nose  .... nothing to do with too much booze...ahem
