Time to put the cat amongst the pidgeons. But when you are need of the extra cash to get by it works.
We have all seen the referral sites before, eg linemypocket and freefivers. They actively encourage you to click on search sites like kelkoo and moneysavingsupermarket to earn you 10p or so per click. But face it who wants to sit at a computer every night to earn about a £1?? Solution - go big. By this look at the high cashbacks - ie insurance policies and dvd rental places etc etc. Actually go to it and sign up - set up the direct debit and wait for the paperwork to come through. The cashback site logs your transaction and turns it to pending cashback payment. After a week cancel the direct debit and write to them to say changed your mind. Normally most things have a 14 day cooling off period. The company in question will normally write to you and say sorry to see you go - end of story. However the cashback you were given will still remain - reason being very very few merchants actually track the cashback. They get new business in and pay the referral site - if you cancel a policy or service rarely is it tracked back to recover it from the referral site, many firms dont have the facilities - its worked on firms such as AA, Lloyds TSB, Churchill, Direct Line, Screen Select. And at £10 or so per referral you can add some much needed pennies to your piggybank. Try it. I dont recommend doing it on a ongoing basis but doing it right in one month you can earn £100-£150 - ideal for Xmas upcoming.
