Hi there, specially Dez-titute who thought I desapeared. well, i did, as it's so many thing going on.
Need to find a new place to live first and still dont know to which budget to go for. If i go around paying £500/600 for a room dividing with 2 or 3 people as most of the people i know do, in the end of the day take another amount of money for the rest of the bills and i might have to keep giving money back for 3 years.
then i was thinking if i rented a bedroom flat, for for example 700pcm (dont know yet, inclusive or exclusive of bill) then i know it will not have much left since i only earn 1050 pcm. but at least i will have some decent living (have shared before and sometimes i find it quite hard sharing, since i have lupus and with pain it is not always i can keep up). so, i was wondering, and idea on what type of rent i could go for?
do we have to present New tenancy agreement to OR?
also, do you know how to mark the links that we like and that we want to read again and find it in a easy way?

Hiya
You need to consider the 'general' rent in the area that you are in. For example, down in the South, our rent is £1200, but up North it wouldn't be that high for a three bedroom place. As long as you're not trying to get something palatial then getting a place of your own should be fine.

A studio flat might be a good compromise. Pre-Billy and pre-motherhood, I had one and I loved it to bits though had I swung a cat around it it would have been very messy! Merry is right - try to get a feel for the average rent in your area and take it from there. I would think that especially when you're going through bankruptcy, it's important to have somewhere you feel comfortable, part of rebuilding your life.

Hi php,
You will be allowed to rent whatever accomodation you need, the OR won't expect you to share to keep the costs down do they can take an IPA.
Have a look around and see what the best you can afford is, then go for it!
Don't know about saving lonks, could you add them to 'favorites'?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I agree with what's been said already about the rent, we will be moving into private rented housing before we go BR, so we put a realistic rental cost, judging off what other houses are being rented for in the area.
To save a link, do you mean the actual link someone has written on a post? Or the page itself you are looking at?
The page, just use the 'add to favourites' button on your browser.
The written link itself, hover over it with the cursor, right click, choose 'add to favourites' from the menu. This will save the page to your favourites list without even looking at it first.
Hope this helps.

I totally agree, if £700 is what you have to pay for reasonable rented accommodation in your area and can find a way to afford it, then go for it, it's clearly your preference. The OR will be fine. All the bestBankrupt 11th June 2008
