Anyone have any pointers for the interview? Any questions I should prepare myself for?
I have written down what I need to do and how i have done it in my current position. I have my suit ironed and ready. I am going to get a shower and use my lavender shower gel. I am totally chill.

Only the "why do you want this job?" and "Can you provide an example of when you did X,Y or Z" where X, Y or Z is usually some rubbish about initiative or teamwork type stuff.0

Don't worry, you're obviously totally prepared and doing your research in good time.:rolleyes:0 -
Practice the following phrases until you are comfortable saying them:
'You've come through to the wrong department'
'He/she has just gone to lunch'
'Please hold I'll try and transfer you'
'No, that's not our policy'
'Have you tried (select one from RSPCA, Citizens Advice, Police, someone who cares)'
Good luck, don't forget little things like taking a black pen, switch off your mobile, don't sit down until invited to do so and have all of the evidence and photocopies, like passport, proof of residence etc, that you have been asked to bring.0 -
There is likely to be one about equality, and the usual "tell us a little about yourself".......along with maybe "what can you bring to the role?"0

Equal opportunities are always questions that the council use!0
