Homes gloom 'worse than 1990s'

Housebuilders were in turmoil yesterday after analysts said the downturn in the property market was expected to be "significantly" worse than in the 1990s.

    Ah, them were t'days - did we ever prove that something or other was inversely correlated to something else?

    Afraid I've been helping the fithy foreigners out with their filthy foreign beer mountain - done me best, but about time they un-assed and set about it themselves (until after the school hols...).

    I think it's also because people know what's coming. Last time the media could keep calling the bottom of the crash and they were believed, which dragged things out a lot longer. This time round, everybody knows perfectly well where we're going to end up and nobody will buy without a 20% discount at the very least.
