I won a holiday - is it for real?

I have recently started the 'daily clicks' and have just been contacted by club la costs (from the 2 minute draw?) to say I have won a holiday 7 nights inc all flights and accommodation for up to 6 people, they gave me a freephone number to call which I did and spoke to a girl called Carla who told me all about my prize, I can go to Tenerrife, Portugal or Costa del sol within the next 18 months but have to go to one of these timeshare thingies this Saturday, I don't have to buy or commit to anything (I need a timeshare like a hole in the head!) and the holiday is ours no matter what

Is this for real? has anyone else had this?, I have never won anything in my life and this feels a bit too good to be true, I've heard a lot about these timeshare thingies being hard sell etc, they are going to send me all the details through the post but not sure if I should go

Check out the competition scams board for more info-i had a few of these a while back and they are really hard sellers-sum1 off another site had gone to a conference and found it nigh on impossible to get the holiday but i'm not talking from personal experience as i haven't been myself.
I got persistent calls for about 2 weeks even though i told them i wasn't interested and i had to be rather stern to get em to burger off.

I'm sorry but every man and his dog seems to 'win' these. They usually ask for a payment to cover admin fees. I wouldn't touch with a bargpole!
But keep going with comps and fingers crossed one day you will win a real hol!

Soz you got this - they clobbered me too and I got really excited till I checked out the phone number and read it up on this site -it's a really rotten trick but here's hoping you win a real holiday prize! x
