Shame I havent got the dosh atm. HD ready to thats very good and if buying a LCD/Plasma, then always look for HD ready signs etc.

not at that resolution - 852 x 480

bearing in mind that regular dvd is 720 X 576.

480 is ntsc aswell.

HDTV requires a mininum vertical resolution of 720. Unfortunately, you need to spend about £2,000 to get an HDTV plasma. These low-res plasmas can only get cheaper - because they're rubbish IMHO!
