rrickyuk kindly produced the list, based on forum members' experience, to help prevent people from accidentally signing up to a site which would then bombard them with email spam/ phone calls/ whatever. It's a useful list which is now in the Comping Guide sticky under "Are there any sites, from experience, which are likely to generate lots of spam?"

No one is saying that you can't enter a comp from this site. Just that you should be aware of what you might be letting yourself in for.
