My feeling is that you would not be covered, as the contract will be formed according to the laws of the seller's country. I am happy to be corrected on that point.

Contact them and say you are charging them storage at £5 per day until they collect it. You didn't order it, so you don't have to pay for it.
Of course, they won't pay up, but as they are in a different country I can't see what they can actually do.0
