I agree if parents have to drive kids to school they could at least share the journey with others so you've not got three children arriving in three seperate cars :T

You could apply this to journeys into Manchester - let car sharers go free.

I still think the whole scheme will be a nightmare if they do allow local journeys. How many people will claim a discount/freebie saying they're taking the kids to school.
How much money will be wasted chasing up the people who aim to cheat?
