Summer jobs advice please

I'm a teacher and looking for some summer work.
I used to do a lot of supermarket, events etc promotional work when I was a student (handing out flyers, free samples and the like) and wondered if anyone has any contacts to so that I could get back in to this? If I remember, it used to be quite good money.
Also, any other ideas for summer work would be great

If your a teacher why not look into doing some private tutorial sessions for kids that are falling behind at school? surely this would pay better than a job in a supermarket or similar? and you would only be working the hours that were appropriate for yourself?0
