Im looking for a reasonably priced digital camera. nothing flash but enough to take photo's to mainly post pics for ebay. My last camera has just died. There are some cheap vivitars and similar but not sure what they are like so if anyone has any comments they would be appreciated.

I guess around the £50 mark tops. I have seen a Practica for £9.99 but have heard thay are rubbish so don't neccessarily want a cheap and nasty. A decent bargain would be great bearing in mind what I want use it for. I'm not after top quality.Boots Card - £17.53, Nectar Points - £15.06 - *Saving for Chrimbo*2015 Savings Fund - £2575.000

I'd recommend going secondhand for a decent camera under £50. Try somewhere like Ebay and go for a recognised brand, like Canon, Nikon, Sony or Fuji. If it's mainly for something like Ebay, you'd get away with 2-4 megapixels. Remember that it's the lens that makes a camera, not the megapixel count! I have a Nikon Coolpix 4500 which is only 4 megapixels but takes much better pictures than a new, cheap camera which claims it has 10mp.
I'd recommend something like a Nikon Coolpix 3100, an older Canon Ixus like the 430 (I have one - cost £38 inc postage, 4mp and great pic quality) or something like a Canon PowerShot S30.
Edit: I also saw yesterday a nice looking Samsung digital camera for £49 in a local TJ Hughes store, they also have shops around the country I think.Total debt as at Jul 2012: Too much!0 -
id agree with dwain above. i can recommend a canon ixus, i used to have one until i had a swimming pool involved accident.... ive now upgraded but they're brilliant cameras. What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0

Hi, instead of reasonably priced digital camera you can go for some nice one, so that you can use it for longer time. I recently gifted a camera for my sister, it is really great, she is enjoying a lot with it. I bought it from
