Im just watching that Tonight programme about beating the energy costs. I have an obsession with Oil prices, energy consumption, domestic energy price hikes, rising fuel costs, car tax going up and its quite a miserable outlook. When I say Im obsessed it doenst get me down I just think it is a fasciniating, complex yet simple paradox. I for one have 2 cars and they cost me £210 each per year to tax. From Apr next year they will cost me £900 for both of them per year. Its not worth me selling my cars becuase of everything they have beed seriously devalued, nobody wants a big engined diesel car. Now with rising car fuel costs, domestic energy price hikes I dread to think what my ourgoings will be on these things alone come next April. But if there is any good to come from this is that we have to adapt our lifestlyes, and overcome our dependancy on energy, and by this I mean, stop taking the car everywhere, stop sitting in front of the tv, watching and re-assessing how we use our energy and all this surely can only be a good thing. Because we will get back to basics. I wonder how far away we are from food and petrol rationining. I dont think it will be a bad thing because we will adapt, our lifestyles will become healthier as a consequence; of course there are always losers. Everyone now must put energy at the top of their agenda. Oil prices fell to $135 a barrel last night which is good. Hey dont mean to depress anyone, it just intrigues me. Oh hum

im on the Ikea website trying to find a dinner tray. Im using Anna the interactive assistant, so inevitably I asked her a rude question and this is what she said:

'I am not designed to understand or feel insults, although my knowledge will surely improve after this conversation. What would you like to know about IKEA?'

    Yay, good girl :rotfl:
