I joined SW last week and have to weigh in tonight. I have eaten very little today and had my eyebrows threaded so that is at least a 1lb off:rotfl:Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Afternoon everyone! HOw are you all doing?
I_A - Good Luck for tonight - what's the weather like up there? I hope it's not too soggy under foot for you!
Bunny - Sorry to hear about your date, but I agree with exactly what hellie said - wise words!
Len - I'm glad you showed a photo of the BBQ open, as I was really struggling to work out how you could cook your sausage on that!!
Lucifa - If I ever get pregnant, I hope I have cravings for some nice things and not beetroot on toast or something! But I hope you're not feeling too ill at all!
Hi to Snaggles and Jet and Jinky and Hellie, and anyone else I've missed!
Well! What a few days I've just had! Life pottering on as normal on Saturday, just getting ready to go out the door to visit friends and my Mum rings...Dad's having a heart attack...Went into panic mode but DH calmed me down and we got over to theirs in superquick time to see Dad surrounded by paramedics being pumped full of drugs - not a sight I wish to relive! Off to local hospital, but then news later that he was going to Papworth - heart specialist hospital. So that's basically where I've been since Saturday evening! He was quite serious on Sunday, but yesterday had perked up quite a bit and appears to be improving each day. I'm hopeful he'll be coming back to BSE very soon though. I love my Mum and Dad very much and you alway thing they're going to live forever, but when things like this happens, you realise that life is precious.
On a lighter note though, it means that as there is officially a family history of heart trouble, high cholesterol and stroke - I've got to start looking after myself and stop eating rubbish and finally follow the Rosemary Conley diet - where I've been going for my aerobics for nearly 8 years!!
Have a good rest of the day everyone!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109

It does seem to be like that you don't know antone expecting then suddenly a whole batch of folk make there announcements.
Out of our group 6 of us (3 couples obviously) got married in 2006 - one in August, and us and another couple in October. The Other october couple (IYSWIM) have just announced they're expecting in January, just a month before us!
It'll be nice to have someone that close to share things with once I 'go public' (she's not one of the uni gang from hell thank goodness)26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073
