This is going to sound so very stupid :o

I'm applying for an Irish passport but which form do I fill out

The one for Irish citizens living in Ireland or the one for Irish citizens living abroad?

Well the answer really depends on who your talking to in this country :rotfl:

So anybody any idea please?

The one for Irish citiziens living in Ireland....assuming you're applying in N.Ireland rather than Scotland, Wales or England, or anywhere else.

I think your looking for the form

"Dual Nationality Citizens living abroad (OK Depends on who you ask) who want an Irish passport because the UK passports are too bl**dy expensive and take to long to get"

Bit of a mouthful but I think they keep them beside the E111's in the post office..

Yep thats the exact one! I went to renew my 10yr British one only to discover it was no cheaper than getting a new one so will opt for this one instead, you'd think they'd give you a slight discount for a renewal
