I was in my local Aldi store today and they have reduced the 42 inch LCD tv to £499 instead of £569 , they were £699 when they came out last year, and they come with a 3 year warranty , bought one last year great picture.:rotfl:

One thing to remember with Aldi's, is most of their electrical stuff comes with a 3 year warrantee.
I'm waiting until thursday to find out what their next 32" model will be like (they're getting one in on the 17th and the details should be instore Thursday/Friday), before buying a new TV for my room.0 -
Just be aware that the native resolution for this TV is 1366 × 768, so not full HD.

Yes but currys will then try to sell you a 3 year warranty for well over £100 . But still a good buy.harrybrusey1 wrote: »Not quite as cheap, but currys got this one for £549!

Ebuyer (www.ebuyer.com) have just sent an email. £499.00 get you a full hd 42 inch tv. It comes with a free stand or dvd player, plus free delivery. I think a much better proposition than the Aldi version.Do you make things happen, watch things happen, or just wonder, what happened?0
