Sky+HD for £75 + £30 Installation NEW + EXISTING

Taken from the Digital Spy Forum...

"Just phoned up to reduce my existing £55 a month package and got offered HD for £75 plus £30 installation, this is based on a new 12 month agreement and keeping 2 premium channels."

Basically anyone that is on Sky World Package - can now get SKY+HD for £75 if you argee to keep 2 premium channels for 12 months.

Not bad I must say.

  • Does the £10/mo surcharge for HD still apply? As I understand it the 2 premiums only net you a discount on the Sky+ functionality

ic means the Sky+ functionality is free for everyone, it used to be only free if you subscribed to a premium channel.

I'm not sure the Sky+HD offer will be easily accessible for everyone though as it sounds more of a retentions offer.

£10 charge for the HD channels still applies. Also the new boxes don't come with component outputs out of interest.

How do you figure that? When I called Sky recently asking about Sky+ they certainly didnt tell me it was free and were asking for £99!
