Best place to buy a good quality sofa?

Options
Will be looking for a new 3 piece suite, or 2 setee's, after Xmas. I want something that will last for years, so I don't mind paying for quality-at the cheapest price of course!

I wouldn't be going near DFS, or similar shops, I've seem what happens to their sofa's!

Not sure as yet if we want leather or fabric, has anyone got an ideas regarding workmanship, what to look for, and where to look?

Don't mind travelling anywhere in the North West for a bargain!

  • Arighi Bianchi's in Macclesfield, some of their sofa's are really expensive, some around the same price as those in DFS, worth going when they've got a sale on and they will drop the price a little more if you ask nicely!
2p off is still 2p off!

We got our sofas from Sofa Workshop direct. The first ones (a 2 seater & sofa bed) are still going strong after more than 5 years and we've just moved the sofa bed into the playroom (gave the other to a friend) and bought some new Sofa Workshop ones for the living room! We spent ages looking at M&S and other makes, but went with Sofa Workshop as we knew the quality was good and they were the most comfortable.
