All depends on how desperate your mum is for the money back. Does she know about the debt? If she's in a position to she may taker a smaller ammont off you so you can pay off those charging you interest!0

Also have you perhaps tried getting over 0% interest cards or maybe even low rate for life balances as your cards are really quite high.0

i did apply for a couple but my credit limit on them was just £1500 so they were not of any help and i dont think i would be able to pay them off as well as the other loans/debts by the time the 9 or 12 months is over.
i have started to take packed lunch too but did list it just in case i need to spend it on shopping. the only "good" thing i can see so far with the credit card debt is that I dont have to wait for 5/6 years as with other fixed term loans to pay them off even though the % rate is higher.Debt as at Oct'06:
Loan = £[strike]13000[/strike] June '08 - £8555
CC = [strike]£6200[/strike] June '08 - £ 0
Total =[strike] £19200[/strike]0
