Returning to Sky

We left Sky about a year ago because we couldn't afford it anymore and long before we found this fantastic site.
Today we received a flyer from Sky saying if we return to them we can have a package for half-price for three months. We are really tempted.
If we tell them we are considering it, does anyone know if it's worth asking for any other incentive to help us make up our minds? if so what?
thanks

There was a thread on here that they were offering new customers free sky sports for 12 months. Try it on with them, officially it has expired but Im sure they will oblige if you starting mentioning NTL.0

When I returned (last week), I stated that the dish had been removed and that the location of the receiver and card was unknown (true at the time). I was offered free provision and installation of a sky receiver and dish, I also took them up on the £50 sky+ supply and fit offer (extra £10 per month for multiroom).
The beauty of this is that you have a nice shiny 12 month warranty on all the equipment. OTOH you lose the half price three months offer. The Lord giveth ...

Be careful, we took up an offer to have the Film Channel free for 3 months over Christmas about 2 years ago.
Stupidly I thought they'd contact me after the 3 months to say the subscription was increasing, after the 4th month I realised how much the monthly payment had increased, I wrote and phoned to cancel the Film Channel, but they still took the increased amount by direct debit. I then cancelled the DD, and the Sky ceased. To cut a long story short, they eventually tried to sue for non-payment, even though wasn't receiving transmission.
It was quite a battle, I won in the end, but I would never, ever ever go back to Sky again.........:j0
