Loan advice appreciated.
i am currently £2100 overdrawn on my current account (£2000 overdraft limit).
i have a 25% share in my shared ownership property.
have a credit card maxed to £1500 and another at £800.
credit rating - fair.
not currently on electoral roll - but should be in a few weeks due to local council.
my salary is 30k.
i've tried to get a consolidation loan for £3000 to help clear my overdraft and credit cards so i have just one payment, but have been refused by everyday loans because i wasn't on the electoral roll. since buying my flat and moving into it, the agencies i have credit with (phone, mortgage, credit card companies etc) haven't updated their records showing i am at this address, and that was another reason why everyday loans where unable to give me a loan. none of these companies show i am making payments/have made payments with them on experien, where they once where on my old address.
i'm at a loss as to what to do. i'll get paid my salary at the end of the month and will be able to keep up with mortgage and rent on remaining share, but this will soon spiral out of control due to interest payments on the credit cards and the like.
i have also been landed with a £600 bill to pay service charge at my property since i moved in, as the company to pay this to has only been set up now.
has anyone got any ideas as to how i could get a loan to consolidate this debt, or get out of this mess ?
thanks in advance.

I know this sounds obvious but you need to sit down and work out exactly where your money is going and how to budget properly and make cost savings to enable you to throw more money towards your debts.
Have you asked your bank if they would convert your o/d (and anything else) into a Personal loan.
You could point out to them as you owe them the money anyway they won't be in a worse position than now but you would be as you would not rack up overdraft and other charges.
Also go over to the debt free wannabe board.0 -
thank you for your reply.
i hadn't thought about that, but will get in touch with my bank to see if they could arrange something like this for me.0
