CCCS Annual Review

I have mine coming up shortly, any thoughts?

If you have had a review recently, what was the outcome?

Did you find out anything about your creditors medium term intentions? (I have had no correspondence from a number of my creditors, not even whether they have accepted my offers of payment)

Any experience you are willing to relate would be much appreciated - Thanks

  • B]Most of your creditors will have contacted CCCs directly to say whether or not they accept the DMP. Sorry not had a 12 month review yet but i did have one a couple of months ago when circumstances changed and i could increase my DMP. That was no different from the first, in fact easier as most of it was already in place, it was just a case of re tunning how much i had free to pay CCCS. Mos of the creditors that contacted me said they would accept the DMP for 6 months ater that i dread to think.

Sorry this isn't much use to you
  • On the subject of whether your creditors have accepted the DMP or not - I found that a couple of mine wrote to accept, the others just stopped phoning and writing.

Our CCCS arrangement has been running for 3 months now, and next month I am planning to write letters to all my creditors saying something like 'thank you for accepting our offer' and requesting some sort of statement confirming the current balance outstanding and acknowledging receipt of payments to date.

I get the impression that being pro-active about things can only help you in the long term as it indicates a willingness to do all you can to resolve the situation in a responsible way.

This consisted of a review of my income and expenditure. There were no significant changes, therefore the DMP remained the same.

The service from the CCCS staff member was, as always, friendly, professional, helpful, and non-judgemental.

Beware any criticisms of the CCCS that come from fee based "advisors", these people are sales staff who are simply knocking their competitors.
