Mystery Shopper question - advise please

Hi all

I've had a quick look at the other two Mystery Shopper threads, and they seem to be aimed at people who know what they're talking about rather than people like little old me!

Sorry if this is an incredibly dumb question. I would like to sign up to become a Mystery Shopper. I've googled and found a number of companies but I am too scared to add my details online - I've read too many scare stories about online security! I wonder if you expert Mystery Shoppers can confirm which Mystery Shopper companies are legit please? I won't mention company names (unless you tell me it's ok) but two of the companies wanted a photo uploaded as part of the online application, and that put me off. The first one that came up on the google search seemed ok but I would feel more comfortable adding my details if someone can tell me they are already registered with a particular company and can confirm it's genuine and above board please.

Hi there,

I am also very new and from reading the main thread I believe a lot there are too, don't be scared and post this on the main thread as the people there are just the nicest and you can learn all you need to know by reading all the other post, then any questions you may have will always be responded to, I just think you would be all alone on this seperate one, come and join in.
I am registered with quite a few, there is a list at the very beginning of this thread and it does depend on which company works for you, but I like GFK and ISC, have also done one for GAP and will be doing one for RE next week.
So come and join quickly and lets get started
