Extended quiet patch???

Hmmm, have been entering everything but no wins now apart from the johnsons essentials pack for over a month. feeling a little disheartened at the moment.

Was i just lucky for the first few months, or is this indeed one of those "between buses" times?!

I keep coming in here to keep me motivated, and am hoping for another win soon!! (anything would be good!)

I have noticed there seems to be a sudden influx of compers on MSE now, do you think that could be why win rates have dropped? (not that i mind, we all deserve to win!)

I've been having a lot of quiet patches for a while now compared to maybe 9 months/1 year ago when the prizes were rolling in.

Its partly luck but I do also think that its because there are more people entering so the odds have gone down and with the introduction of the comp ending threads, they're all getting entered rather than some just getting missed.

we all have our high and low periods, my motto is 'you have to be in it to win it'. Keep going you never know when the next win will be.

I am having a very quiet spell at the moment, (apart from winning a case of wine on my local radio station yesterday :j ). I haven't won anything from here for a while now but have to keep entering now as I keep thinking that the day I don't bother will be the day I would have won

I was starting to feel like you - the odd dvd but nothing much, so I was getting fed up and entering less competitions - (bit of a vicious circle, so I'm expecting another quiet patch in a couple of months). Also you see other people's signatures, with mega wins and wonder what you're doing wrong!
Then I got my laptop letter and am all motivated again.

I think my motto from here on in is be satisfied with smaller prizes ( I just like getting parcels) coz the bigger ones are few and far between, but stick with it.
I'm with hjb on the buses theory - that's definitely how it goes for me.
