Employers wont let me fill in overtime?

Hello,Today like many other Saturdays I went to fill in my over time for the week and like most Saturdays there was no book to fill it in.

I went to one of the managers who told me she didnt know where one was,when I told her where they are kept she just said I cant be bothered then.I would have gotten it myself but ive been told its a serious matter if anyones goes in that draw.....

Im a pretty laid back guy about things like this however last time this happened I got a grilling off another mananger for not finding a book when id already asked many times!! Plus im doing this as overtime,im only contracted for 14 hours hours but im doing 20+ extra so its important I get paid for it and not just given leiu time instead.

My next question being what can be done? if managers wont find me books to fill in overtime how can I get paid? what are my legal rights?

What sort of work do you do? Is it one where you could obtain evidence of your being there? I'm thinking of one where you have to use a computer and have a work email address which you could use to send an email to confirm you are there.

Who is your line manager - can you raise it with them? If you don't have a particular manager, go to HR.

Its half been sorted now but the issue still remains as to why theres not enough overtime books out for us to use.It doesnt seem very fair considering! Im going to ask the relations office about it tommorrow,many thanks!
