.....and the countdown has started!!!! :j:j:j
less than 2 hours till I'm discharged!!!! WHOOP WHOOP :j:j:j
Anyways, being as the OR doesn't work at 1015 on a Saturday night (well I don't think they do anyway!) and so there's no chance of them ringing me to say that they've decided to suspend my discharge, I thought I'd have a drink early  Anyone want to join me??
I know everyone says this but really really thanks to everyone who has helped me over the past 12+ months, I'm not going to name names, you know who you are and I don't want to leave anyone out by accident!
I've learned a huge amount over the past 12 months, about BR and myself. I've know now that I CAN (and do) live without credit, that I'm a stronger person that I thought, that what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, and that the OR isn't always right when it comes to IPA's
so if you believe your right, don't back down through fear, stand up and fight your corner!! The OR is only a human being after all (could someone not have told me that at the beginning :rotfl:)
I can't believe 12 months has gone, it almost makes me sad in a way, not that I'm finally getting discharged of course, just sad that I wasted so much time worrying about debt and sorting things out - this year has proved to me how fast life goes by and I'm not going to waste another moment of it. As some of you know I've had personal problems to lately, which only reinforces, to me anyway, that there are more important things in life that debt, worry and stress. I hope anyone reading this that hasn't gone down that road yet, but knows that they should, will just go for it. I myself entered into a DMP a year or more before I went BR and in the end it was still a road I had to travel down - I just wish I had done it so much sooner. Life is short, live it to the full, you never know what's around the corner.
I'm still going to post on my diary, but I'm going to continue to (try!) to keep it BR related. In the next few weeks I'm going to clean up my credit file with the help of Fermi's sticky (thanks Fermi!). I hope what I've written/will write will continue to help people.
Thanks again guys and gals you're the best
