You would need to take the train to Glasgow and then probably a bus to the airport.

If you aren't too sure of where you are going I would take the bus from Edinburgh to Glasgow Buchanan Street where you can transfer straight on to a bus to the airport.
Train is a nightmare. You would have to take the train to Glasgow Queen Street then walk to Central Station for a train to Paisley then take a taxi or bus to the Airport.0 -
Train from Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street - then go thru' exit to North Hanover Street and you will pick up a Citilink bus to Glasgow Airport ...and possible money saving - travel if you can outwith peak morning and evening times and when you buy the rail ticket in Edinburgh - be aware of this:
Combined rail & bus tickets: Glasgow Airport
First ScotRail have teamed up with Scottish Citylink coaches to offer customers a rail and bus inclusive ticket to GLASGOW AIRPORT from North Hanover Street (for customers arriving at Glasgow Queen Street)
You can buy a through ticket to Glasgow Airport comprising rail travel to Glasgow Queen Street and onward travel to Glasgow Airport via the Scottish Citylink Service 905.

Check the Megabus website - the bus from Edinburgh stops right beside the bus for Glasgow Airport so you have to walk all of 10 yards to get between the two0
