Best printer

I want to buy a printer scanner copier that I can refill the ink cartridges fairly easily .the cheap deals I have seen in some shops means the replacement cartridges are expensive and hard to refill has anyone got any recommendations thanks willoscar

  • I operate a small ink cartridge remanufacturing business so I get to see a lot of different cartridges come through my shop. I would highly recommend using HP products. They are probably one of the easiest cartridges for us to refill but I think HP uses good quality products when they make their cartridges. For example, HP uses a metal print head, the little strip of metal where the ink comes out. It is a lot more durable than a Lexmark that use a plastic like material. Also, with HP cartridges, they can sit around for a while after they become empty and I usually do not have any problem refilling them and getting them to work just like you took them out of the box the first time. A Lexmark/Dell(Lexmark makes Dell's cartridges) on the other hand forms this thick black substance in the ink cartridge that plugs up the nozzles and the cartridges have to be completey broken down, replacing a couple of the internal parts before they will work again.
Lexmark are good cartridges if you get them refilled right after they run out of ink but I personally prefer HP cartridges to refill.
