    starring Alec Baldwin, Eric Bogosian

    http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt0096219/

    An acerbic radio talk show host based in Dallas starts what could be an important few days when he discovers that his controversial late night show is about to be "picked up" by a nationwide network of radio stations. However, all is not perfect for him, because on top of troubles with his love life and fears that the management of the network will try to alter the content of his show he has to cope with a neo-nazi group who have been angered by his forthright opinions.

    Monday- Halloween

    http://imdb.com/title/tt0077651/ (7.8)

    See Halloween like you’ve never seen it before!

    Fifteen years ago, Michael Myers brutally massacred his sister. Now, after escaping from a mental hospital, he’s back to relive his grisly crime again, and again… and again.

    Halloween is one of the most iconic horror films ever made and has been fully restored to its gory best.

    Tuesday- The Evil Dead

    http://imdb.com/title/tt0083907/ (7.4)

    Sam Raimi’s The Evil Dead will pull scream after scream from the base of your spine to the depths of your soul.

    Ever-present, ever listening, the Evil Dead lie in wait for the one ancient incarnation that will give them license to possess the living.

    Watch in horror as five vacationing college students unwittingly resurrect these slumbering demons, and are forced into battle with the supernatural forces that occupy the forests and dark bowers of man’s domain.

    The innocent must suffer.

    The guilty must be punished.

    One-by-one, the students are possessed by these demons whose thirst for revenge is insatiable.

    As the night wanes, only one man remains…Ash. He must now defend himself while trying to uncover the horrible secret of The Evil Dead.

    Wednesday- Children of the Corn.

    http://imdb.com/title/tt0087050/ (4.9)

    In this Stephen King’s classic, a couple, Burt (Peter Horton) and Vicky (Linda Hamilton) stop in a small town to report the death of a child on the highway.

    There, they discover something strange about the community: all the grownups are gone, and the children seem to belong to a strange cult. What’s worse, it’s a cult that sacrifices adults to the dreadful ‘he who walks behind the rows’…

    Thursday – Scanners

    http://imdb.com/title/tt0081455/ (6.5)

    There are 4 billion people on earth, 237 are scanners. They have the most terrifying powers ever created… and they are winning.

    Cameron Vale (Stephen Lack) is living on the fringe of society, self-induced due to his telepathic ability to read other people’s minds. Darryl Revok (Michael Ironside) has the same condition and is the head of an underground association of Scanners that want world domination.

    When Vale is taken to Dr. Paul Ruth (Patrick McGoohan) as a result of supposed insanity, he’s enlisted into a program that will involve him in a battle against his fellow Scanners. A classic from acclaimed director David Cronenberg.

    Friday- Flowers in the Attic.

    http://imdb.com/title/tt0081455/ (4.6)

    After a tragic accident leaves them fatherless, four children return to their mother’s mysterious family mansion hoping for an inheritance.

    But when they are imprisoned and abandoned by their evil grandmother, the children must survive a nightmare of brutal cruelty, forbidden passion and a final shocking discovery that will shatter their innocence forever.

    Kirsty Swanson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Victoria Tennant (Inseminoid), Jeb Stuart Adams and Academy Award winner Louise Fletcher (One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest) star in this haunting suspense thriller based on the novel that launched the extraordinary career of V.C. Andrews and won her a devoted following of more than 85 million readers worldwide

    http://imdb.com/title/tt0093177/ (6.8)

    http://imdb.com/title/tt0095294/ (5.9)

    Doctor Channard is sent a new patient, a girl warning of the terrible creatures that have destroyed her family, Cenobites who offer the most intense sensations of pleasure and pain. But Channard has been searching for the doorway to Hell for years, and Kirsty must follow him to save her father and witness the power struggles among the newly damned. Written by David Carroll {davidc@atom.ansto.gov.au}

    The head of a psychiatric prison who meddles with a satanic puzzle cube unleashes a cabal of pain-seeking demons who terrorise his daughter. The girl must find a way to solve the puzzle and force the demons back to hell after a series of victims fall victim to the cube's power. Written by Keith Loh {loh@sfu.ca}

    After having her father and perverse stepmother killed by the cenobites, Kirsty Cotton (Ashley Lawrence) is sent to a psychiatric hospital. Even after trying to convince the authorities of what really happened with her family, nobody believes in her version of the history and they decide to place her in the institute, so that she rests and relaxes a little bit. The hospital is commanded by a brilliant and strange psychiatrist, Dr. Channard (Kenneth Cranham), who has been looking for the key for another dimension for a long time. The only person who believes in Kirsty is a young and kind assistant of Dr. Channard, called Kyle MacRae (William Hope). Following Kirsty's version of the story, Channard put his hands on the bloodstained mattress where her stepmother Júlia (Clare Higgins, from the first Hellraiser) died, Channard decides to resurrect her, killing his patients and offering them as food for Júlia. She returns without skin, and she decides to help Channard to bring the forces of the evil, but the plans of the two will be disturbed by Kirsty, who wants to end at once with the cenobites, and for Kyle, who doesn't want to see Kirsty being hurt...

    edit - now seen this was already posted by a certain Derby fan but still as a reminder to all

    Romantic Englishwoman in Express stars Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson

    http://imdb.com/title/tt0073634/plotsummary (6.3)

    What is real and what is fiction? Faced with writer's block with his novel, Lewis Fielding turns to a film script about a woman finding herself after his wife Elizabeth returns from Baden Baden. She didn't quite find herself there but had a brief encounter in a lift with a German who says he is a poet. Now the German is in England, gets himself invited to tea where he claims he admires Fielding's books. Which one does he like the best? "Tom Jones." Amused at being confused with the other Fielding, the novelist works the German into the plot.
