does anyone have any news on the express free plant offer?
    IT'S ALL ABOUT ME!!!:j:money:

I bought £60 of food and wine in M&S this morning for £35!!

I got a 6lb Oakham chicken worth £12.98 (but on offer at £5.99 - feeds 5/6) as the main course for one of my 3 £10 meal deals - what a bargain! Feed the family, never mind dine for 2 with my wife!

Also, buy The Times in M&S today and you get a really good French red for £5 instead of £10.

Spotted this on the Grabbit board in the thread about M&S Dine in for £10. (effectively a free bottle of wine last time - much better this time if you get the chicken)

If you are going to M&S for this offer you can do what we did the last time this was on & add extra wine till you have 6 bottles in total as a
20-25%(? sorry can't remember) wine discount kicks in. Also use the voucher inside the front cover of their wine booklet to get a further wine discount. Not sure how this will work with the Times offer above? If they are out of stock of any of the parts of the meal deal they will give you a voucher for £5/10 to use this weekend.

Edit: Oooops! Just re-read the first post & saw that Quoia has already mentioned the Times/wine offer! Definately need glasses. Hope the other info about combining offers is useful though.

Don't think it's a voucher. Think you just have to buy the paper in M&S. It's a French red.

Edit above is correct - just put the paper through the tills & it automatically substracts the £5. #

PS This Times offer DOES work when you buy the 6 bottles of wine. We've just saved £5 using this, along with £5 for the discount when you buy 6 bottles, along with another £5 saving when you use the voucher from the in-store wine booklet. £15 saving on top of the meal deal. Very happy with all this wine :D hic!
Sorry don't know the name/type of the Times wine yet - it's in the boot now. The Times also had a wine brochure with recipes etc & they will be running an offer with M&S for the next few Saturdays.

Not all Tescos take printed coupons though, the three that I use won't accept them.

It's a bottle of 2005 Domaine de Fontseque Corbieres. Available with the purchase of the Times/Sunday Times until 13th July - so cheaper to get it during the week. The bottle has a neck advertising thing round it.

There will be a further £5 bottle of wine with Times purchase every week until 31st August ie 8 different bottles in total. They range in price from 6.99 to 9.99. The booklet with today's paper gives details of all 8 wines, the regions they're from & a recipe. The recipe for today's wine is Rick Stein's Bullfighter's Beef Stew - sounds yummy!

    Offer terms are:
    over 18's,
    uk only,
    excludes Channel Islands,
not valid with any other offer (seems they got this bit wrong as I found out today ;) ,
subject to availability in selected stores only,
not valid in BP Connect stores
not valid in M&S stores at railways, service stations or airports,
vaild from 5th July to 31st August.
