Tesco extra points for new clubcard

Has anyone experienced this recently. As usual at Tesco Extra Pitsea I sent my son through with a new paper clubcard for a purchase over £1.00 (In this case £5.00) however no voucher for additonal points on next use. Have they stopped this?????

Hi Spender, no it hasn't been stopped I had my extra 150 points yesterday for a new clubcard and today had the voucher points scanned onto my usual clubcard. Even better the chap behind the counter gave me the bonus points voucher back so I can use it again !!!

Worked for me today.
You sure you hadnt used it once before.
A little tip to make sure you dont use the card more than once,as soon as the woman gives it back to me i put it in my purse folded in half,then when I get to a bin I ditch it.
