Just though i'd mention how much of a good deal the americans are getting out of STP! There wages are quite a lot less than us and they're getting paid the same for STP as us. I'm not complaining at all, just thought i'd mention it.

Feel like doing more now, the ice cream really helped!

I don't know whether I have lost or gained accuracy, I can't remember what it was. I'm now 18th and have an accuracy of 92.63%.... hmm.

Flippin eck that's good!!! No that's great!! my accuracy is about 88% at the moment...don't know if I am being to harsh or too easy on the songs...I genreally rate around 6-7 if I like them. Not given to many really low scores...maybe I should...lol

i know what you mean about one man and a guitar on a hilltop, i had loads last night. it's not that they're 'bad', they're just not special and nothing stands out at all....... they just doddle along with not much too them....

there seems to be a LOT less hip hop in here though, i haven't one yet.....touch wood....(frantically touching everything wood that i own)

Fox, i think i read about that happening once or twice to a couple of people on the other thread (new shiny slice the pie thread), but i'm not sure if it was a glitch in the system? i'm worrying about it happening to me aswell lol, as i've only just now gone up to 3 stars!

    not a problem ;)
i'm still not quite sure how i've managed to get there though lol,
all i've done is to be honest (that is the whole idea after all lol), but whilst i might have sounded a bit mean sometimes, i've always tried to phrase things with humour and i've tried to offer positive criticism aswell (ie, if i dont like something, why not?).
also, rather than skipping something, i play it maybe 4 or 5 times, and that gives me the time to think of something to say. if i were to skip it, i wouldn't get my pennies (lol) and i'd only have to review it at some other point any way, so better to struggle through it for 5 mins now and get it over and done with.
when it comes to the 'same-ish' types of songs, i try not to use up all my comments on the first one if you know what i mean, instead of getting my first rap song and blasting it and using up everything i've got in my reportoirre, i just waffle a little about the fact that it IS so similar, it may not do well because of that, and then add what i think for improvement (ie, a bit of variety, stop trying to carbon copy snoop dogg etc!).
i always try and get the review to at least scroll twice when i write in my review (as in length of it), that to me seems fairly reasonable, not too long and pointless, but enough info and suggestions to keep admin happy lol!

and when i find a track i like/love, i get down on my knees and thank god!
(i can only hear so much rap or james 'crying' blunt types before i want to bite a corner off my computer screen!!!!!)

to be honest, i really think that just being honest is the key, except for the out of ten marks (they have them set up really weird!)
the idea is to mark what YOU think JOE PUBLIC will think....so for example, you and i might hate the hip hop about Mr.Man batterin his ho, and rapin his mates ho, and shooting some feller at a club and howe he loves his crack and booze, Joe Public (ie at the moment, 10-25 year old people) would fall over themselves to get that track, it would be the best thing since sliced bread....

so where WE want to rate it minus a million, we SHOULD rate it at about a 6-7 ish.

:D i hope some of that was helpful (as a pose to just waffling random poo at you lol, i have a habit of just going on, and on, and on......)

I'm going to be getting my online thesaurus up and running so that I don't run out of words to say. I generally type about 3-4 lines of how I honestly feel about the song/muiscian. If tey sound like they are trying to be someone else I let them know that...I';ve had a couple of Chris de Burgh wannabees along with a Human league carbon copy and someone trying to do a bit of "Gansta's Paradise" without the cool chorus!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
