  • I just thought I'd try the good old buy low sell (hopefully) high principle.

And I have no intentions of selling until I at least get me fiver back! :D

Well, when i'm doing nothing (as I do quite a lot!) I aim for about £8 - £10, ok well obviously I don't do 'nothing' I still do a little college work, but not much!
On days where I work, i'm knackered, and just try and do £2 - £3. Of course this is all dependant on you star rating as im on 4 stars. So if you're on one star the equivalent would be about £3 and £1 respectively etc :)

I'm on 3 stars, but work full-time plus have 3 kids

Although the good side is, I work in a school and break up for the 6 week holidays on Wednesday :T so I shall say I need to earn £100 before 31st August which is the day before I go back to work.

ETA: the room will probably close now I've jinxed it lol!

YAY i just reached 94% which was a goal i made myself before reaching 1000 tracks, but still have 50 more to go before i reach my 1000 track goal, seems so far A W A Y lol :-D
  • Ok, I am really sorry if this has been asked and answered before on here - I did read as many pages as I could but time is against me... Ok, I just started with this adventure today and can cope with about 6 tracks at a time, so then I stop and do something else and go back to it. I am up to 87p now but doing it in batches! Think my ears might have had enough for today tho.

    1. Ok, my question is... how do you tip? I have added a few tracks to my watch list cos I really enjoyed them, but it is saying I can have 3 tips and I have hit every button on their site that talks about tips and still can't see what or how one does that.

    2. How can you see your accuracy rating, again I might just be being blonde here, but I have looked in all the obvious places to find it!!

I too have had a few reviews refused and it's very annoying, especially when you liked them, but I guess as long as the majority get through then we are earning money!! 3p a track takes a while but I will keep plugging away at it.
To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.
If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...

  • Ok this is annoying.. thought I would do another batch before bed and I have had my last 5 reviews refused. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr! Just wanted to share my frustration..

I'm well pleased! I've done a couple of hours a day all month so far and have got £35 and I'm only on 5p a track. Soooo great!

Money Saving Diva - I am unsure about the tip thing as I am saving mine but when you're in the scout room scroll down to the bottom right to the box with FACEBOOK in and click the scouting application link to see your accuracy. :)
    August Earnings
    Slice The Pie £12.00/£50.00
    Dooyoo Pts 12,150/40,000

  • Hi Grami, thanks for that tip that was kind of you. However I do not belong to facebook and have an aversion to joining it. I guess this means I cannot check my accuracy unless I get over my proud stance NOT to be a member of facebook or myspace and join... *laughs*

To use tips, click on "My watchlist" and then it has a list of everyone who is in that selection you've made. Tick the box to tip them and it will confirm with you.

Well, here goes...used my latest fiver to buy contracts in Walk Don't Walk (they're on telly this week, so they should go up), and Miranda Barber, whose album is now on iTunes...

Let's see how I do. It's "free" money to start with, so not losing anything (apart from the minutes of my life lost listening to the tracks that were dross!)

Ditto. I also bought some Temposhark contracts as although I am not so keen, they are getting noticed.

I have 5 contracts in Laura Stevenson as she is sensational, and I will buy contracts in Trail when they become available; I bought a backstage pass. I think I am going to like this Showcase winner as 4 or 5 of my tips are in it so I will get a free backstage pass and then 10p contracts!!
