Hi all! Am finally tearing myself away from the computer, and beating jinky on the Word Challenge game on facebook!, to go and make my cakes/biscuits for friends this afternoon!

Raining here too, but at least it means I won't have to water the fruit and veg today!

    Have a good day all!

Hew Gemmzie saw your light back on:D what did you end up seeing at the cinema??

I went into several clothes shops today and just kept seeing a sack of spuds looking back at me:mad: Nothing looked nice. *sigh*. Some of the styles in the shops at the moment are made for .....well people not my shape.

OH said that I should buy a "bigger size":o but I really want to loose half a stone in the next few weeks which means it will be a total waste of money.....and I really dont want to go down the slippery slope of buying bigger and bigger sized clothes as I will never do anything to address the problem.......AHgggggggggg.

    I will be thin again!!!!!
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

As I said on my diary Louise, I think most of the stuff around at the moment is designed for people shaped like shop models! Went out with the intention of buying some holiday clothes today and only came back with a pair of trousers. Ho hum.. can I get a magically flat stomach in three weeks...?

Hi Louise! Sorry popped off for tea :) We saw Iron Man - it was pretty good actually, the kids there got really restless though but weren't a major distraction.

You should come down here and I'll personal shop you :D Summer clothes are often made for stupidly skinny people. My friend's holiday pictures on FB are so depressing, they all look slim and tanned :(

If you're dedicated then you'll lose it again

Red - try Slendertone or the MSE option....situps!

    Hello all!
busy old week for me, been down in South Wales since Wednesday and had a horrible 6 hour drive back due to the crash on the northbound M6!
Went over to Blackburn this morning because hubby has bought a new car today!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I'm going to have to give the situps a go - although not right now, I've just had my tea and would probably be sick! :rotfl:Know what you mean about the FB pictures

Gemmzie I would totally love to have a personal shopper:j

I sort of know what styles suit me but I just couldnt find any today:confused: plus carrying excess weight means that anything slightly clingy makes me look lumpy, even OH commented on it the other week.

I just dont suit the styles that are out at the moment as I am quite small framed and only 5'3" so those A-line skirts make my hips look huge!
I have loads of lovely clothes in my wardrobe that I cant squeeze into at the moment and it is really starting to get to me:mad: ..............definately time for action before it starts costing me money:rolleyes:

Iron man is supposed to be really good Gemmzie:cool:
