I have worked in pubs/resturants before and suppose I could do that but I would rather not!
Does anyone have any ideas as who I could work for?
I am an Office Manager at the moment so have pleanty of office experience. I work with Mencap in my spare time but dont think I can tie that in with paid work.

I used to work from 6-8pm in a local shopping centre in a clothing store. it was good because at that time it was fairly quiet - but retail pay is not the best.
There is always supermarkets which are open 24 hours and most likely always need people for the later shifts.
Our local computer training centre is open until 9pm and was looking for people to help with training. There may be similar opportunities open at universities colleges etc.
Good luck!0 -

Events Stewarding is good part time weekend or eveing work. This is something I do. The pay is pretty good in terms of what you're actually doing. As an example I recently worked for Nike at an event held at Battersea Park, my job was a race marshal which involves standing some where along the course and cheering for 5 hours, for that I got paid £60.
It's not regualr, however if you join loads of events agencies then you can feel your weekends and evenings pretty well, especially over the summer.
One of the companies I work for will even pay for your SIA licence (usual cost £170-£240), although you would need to pay the badge fee of £240. Once you have an SIA licence you are legally able to work in security. By this I don't mean become a bouncer, but due to legislation change any one who's job involves security aspects (monitoring of CCTV, Searching, Crowd Control, Checking Tickets etc) has to have an SIA licence. I started on £6 an hour, then went to £8 with my licence and am now on £9.50. I've worked at Lords, The Oval, Twickenham, Headinly, Wembley Areana and many other festivals, concerts and sporting events.
In terms of getting work, either they ring you up asking if you can work, you ring them asking what they have and sometimes you can log into their website and then change your work availability from there (and cofirm work when offered).
Also as you have bar and restaurant experiences there are also event staffing companies that provide catering safe, silver service, porters and bar staff. The best thing about doing bar/catering/waiting work at a festival or exhibition is sometimes you need to work away from home and are feed and put up for free, meaning that's one weekend where you don't need to pay for food. Travel is usually provided also.
Not connected to events but hospital portering and night shelf staking can be great extra earners too. During uni I did both and was on £10+ an hour. Again, even one friday night a week can earn you £80 (albeit before tax), plus that's one night you won't be spending in the pub, so a further £20-30 saving!0 -
I work evenings as a Dispatcher, for a local Taxi firm.
I'm basically the lady at the end of the phone who takes your taxi booking and then gives it to a taxi river.
Its good pay and the companies in my town always need more people to do evenings.
I work from 6pm till 10.30pm twice a week.
May be an idea for you.

Hi
Have you thought about working for a home care company? I did this before I went to uni and then while I was there in the holidays, and it pays quite well. You let them know when you are available to work and they give you work to fit in with that. So if you only want evenings you could be going to help people cook their dinner or get them ready for bed.
I didnt have any qualifications or experience, they just gave me an induction and let me shadow someone a couple of times when I started so I knew what to do. You do need to be a car driver though.
