Car Boot Sales- Wigan Area???

Hello everyone

Does anyone know of any decent car boot sales in the Wigan/ Lancs/ Greater Manchester area? I have been to a few in the past but havent been that impressed with them.

I'm not bothered about the pricier ones, just somewhere that is popular and gets the crowds in.

Ever tried blackburn? How about Gisburn, just up the road from the famous Clitheroe car boot sale. Chorley and Accrington apparently have them as well but I can't really vouch for those as never been. Also see signs on the roundabouts going into b'pool off M55.

Look either on carbootjunction or your local council's website.
There is a very big one at Burscough every Sunday and also at St. Helens on the multi storey carpark next to Tesco on Chalon Way. Opens 7am.
I think there used to be one in Ashton on a Saturday morning but don't know if it's still going.
