Hi there,
I went to the gateshead store today, and there is a sale on, but the prices are no different to what they were last week when the sale started (boo hoo). Was hoping for some good deals......................will keep looking.0 -
Hi
Any further news on whethe it's got more bargain-acious recently? I'm thinking of popping to the Thurrock store later.
Thanks0 -
Hi all the Thurrock branch is 50% off everything including fixtures and fittings as advertised in the Thurrock Gazette today0

In lakeside on Tuesday i wanted to buy coffee table, was told by salesman that i had to order and pay in full when ordering. I didnt do this as they are going into receivership seemed a bit of a risk.0

The 50% sale is by order of the recievers so i would only do collect and pay nothing else sorry dont know about the other stores0

hi, i drive past ilva manchester on the way to work, and this week there are signs saying "store closing 20% off"..............But in small print it says ",most items", so not everything.
Maybe the discount will increase to meet the 50% that other stores seem to have.
:beer:aim to be debt free in 2009.....total so far (24.01.09) £940.45/£15089:eek: ..on my way :money:0 -
I've been at the Thurrock store last Sunday... Is it really considered to be posh? Didn't like the quality at all
Everything seems to be overpriced even with discounts. I bought kitchen towels only...Though was going to spend a lot (moving to a new house and need furniture).. But saw people with full trolleys... A lady before me spent almost £700 on porcelain... 0 -
I was in the ILVA store at Lakeside today and they had:
50% off garden furniture
10% off homewares
30% off lighting
20% off furniture.
It might be worth waiting a few weeks until things get further reduced. (Which they will).0 -

Hi my husband is one of the unfortunate people being made redundant by these closures. However, that being said I am not one to pass up a bargain. The sales are now up to 60% off. Also at the Gateshead store they have a 'clearance centre' where they sell slightly soiled or damaged goods at a fraction of the original price. (Eg sofas for £100 because they have a mark on them) Plus sometimes you can barter in the clearance centre.
As far as I know shops are open until no later than 22nd September but can close anytime before.
Hope I helped. Any1 know any good jobs?? lol0
