I can't seem to find the OXO Indian stock cubes in shops any more. Can anyone suggest a good replacement? I could only find overpriced sachets of stuff in the supermarket today. Cheers

I used to love the Mexican oxo cubes and would use them in my chili con carne. I've not been able to find them anywhere either so have reverted to using the actual spices and have been rather pleased with the results. If you cook a fair bit of spicy food, it could be worth a trip to an asian store to get the basic spices that were in the oxo cubes.
Failing that, send me a PM and I'll send you some of mine. I did a big stock up but got curry instead of mexican (tsk!)October shopping challenge - £3000 -
