Just had an e-mail from JVC (below) that I will not be receiving the T-shirt from katrinac@jvc.co.uk at JVC:
Hello,
It has come to our attention that due to an unfortunate technical error, you may have received an automated email suggesting that your application for a T-Shirt was confirmed and would arrive with you shortly. Unfortunately this is not the case. The T-shirt offer was on a first come first served basis which ended when the T-shirts ran out some weeks ago.
We would like to thank you for applying and apologise for this error.
After receiving this one below from sarahr@jvc.co.uk at JVC in July:
Dear
Thank you for applying for a free T-Shirt.
Your T-shirt will be posted to you as soon as possible.
We reserve the right to substitute your requested size with the nearest available subject to remaining stock.

Got the email saying I was getting one ages ago, and got the same email about an 'error' today. They call it a 'technical error' but i think it sounds more like a person error - forgot how many they had or something lol.0

I also was told I would be receiving one, then was told I wouldn't be due to an error

Don't know if this will help anyone but I got an e-mail in June to say I'd be getting a t-shirt but it never arrived. On a whim this week I e-mailed them to ask if they sent it and pointed out that there was a story in the local paper this week about a postman stealing parcels (which is true). Anyway they e-mailed back to say that there was such a big response they couldn't check on individual cases but if I sent them my address they'd send me one. A couple of days later I had a t-shirt!
So if you were promised one and didn't get it then try asking where it went and you should finally get one. Of course seeing as how they can't actually check on individual cases then you could always try e-mailing even if they said you wouldn't get one (not that I condone lying of course!).The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water
And I look like a tramp and tramps like us
