Very cheap TFT monitors

Just on the WH Smith site and noticed these two widescreen monitors. I don't know if the price is right or how long they will be there, but got to be worth a look to an MSEr or two :D

Fairly generic, but at the price point - why complain, and free delivery too :j

If anyone already has one - is it any good?

Just tried and tho' it said in stock it said no payment will be taken until items ready for dispatch ?

Yeah, I've just noticed the page now says availability 4 weeks. That is quite worrying because if they take no money now then they haven't accepted the contract and could put the price up prior to dispatch? I may have got that wrong, but as it stands, its a fantastic looking offer - much better than anything I've seen recently (I found a 19" WS TFT monitor 2nd user for £50 and thought that a good deal)

When I logged in, it said in stock, but by the time I ordered, it said 4 or more weeks. I presume that in between the time it took for me to order, the stock has run out. I don't think they can legally put up the price after we have put the order through. I dont expect to get it but worth a try.

Thanks - ordered, and order confirmation received :-)
(edit: it said it was in stock when I ordered)
  • Amazingly, just managed to order a 19 inch one, even though they went out of stock very quickly yesterday. Showing as out of stock again now.
In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

Whereas my order has changed to "Product Not Available" when I click on the order. Clicking the item brings up the "product categories" page.

Had an order confirmation, order shows in my history, not had an email off them saying cancelled.

That was for the 22" ordered about 2 minutes after the first posting.
They promised the earth...and delivered mud. Technically though it did meet the spec.
