Interest rate estimates - are trackers really good value?

Hi Curlyboy
I agree with you totally when you say that you have to put yourself and family first. That is exactly what I do. Quite right. (Although I must say that I do care about others and I do not like to see needless suffering).
The point I am trying to get across is that life goes on, recession or no recession, low interest rates or high interest rates, people adapt. And it is not always that bad. It is easy to get carried away by headlines, news reports, scaremongers, doomongers, but most people survive to tell the tale!
Do you know, I do not actually mind being called old-fashioned these days. Comes with age I suppose and experience.
I hope things work out well for you.

I dont give a !!!!!! about other folk or people or whats going on in the world as long as i have a roof over my head
You may be right but sometimes it helps to get a bit of "perspective".
I think so anyway.
It is difficult for people coming off fixed rates, but when you compare it with not having food, water, health care or runing the guantlet of murdering melissha then it's not so bad.
Even if people here are repossesed they will have some housing for their children, schooling, health care and live in a peaceful country.
I'm sure it's not fun living in B&B and on benefits, but we have a lot to be grateful for and I think sometimes it's worth counting your blessing.
People living in this country are extremely fortunate.0 -
