Halloween 2008

I know it's early but....we are going to host a fancy dress party for about 15 people. Invitations have gone out early so people can prepare (or worry about) their costumes.
I'm in the middle of making lots of decorations for the house, sorting out special recipes and some games....I can do all that no worries, but I need some inspiration for OH and my fancy dress. OH doesn't know what he wants and to be honest neither do I..I suppose something witchy and black.
We live in the countryside in spain so do not have access to a lot of the stuff you can get in UK. So if anyone has some simple to make clothes ideas, I'd be grateful

I always go to Halloween parties as Satan. Heavy eye makeup, a pair of devil horns, red dress and an apple to tempt people with.

I rmember the bes thalloween costumes me and my siste rhad when we were younger were homemade

My sister was a spider - black trousers, black top, back combed messed up hair spider webs on her cheeks and then my mum (crafty cow that she is) got some coat hangers - straightened the wire out, wrapped them in lastic bags then covered the lot in back duct tape - effectively making tow long black sticks. She duct taped them together in the centre (so made a sort of bendable X) and then used a black belt of old pair of tights (cant remember which now) and use that to tie round my sisters waist so the black sticks effectively became her extra legs!

Mine - classic - i was dressed all in black, then mum used a stapler  to attach a triangly cut bin bag under each arm - so i had staples along the under arm and down the torso of my top - tada!! one bat! had a pair of sunglasses on to as bats are blind. was a good costume - will see if i can hunt out shameful pictures later

Also should add this is also the party that my dad was wrapped head to toe in bandages to be a mummy and my mother was a zombie!
    Time to find me again
