Tip number one might be that the DFW (debt free wanabee) board are excellent at helping you cut your outgoings!

Otherwise, it all looks pretty good, although your car insurance could be a little steep?

Are all your utility bills as cheap as you can get? I live in a 1950's council house with 3 of us there and pay quite a lot less than that.

Are you following energy efficiency tips (e.g not leaving things on standby, low energy lightbulbs)?

Have you signed up to cashback websites e.g quidco?

As said car insurance looks steep even for having 2 cars

the car insurance is for 2 cars so £50 a month each both under 25 etc so thats why its a bit steeper but cheapest we could get :)

    got quidco i love it!:)

Bills are £64 a month scottish power, they're waiting for a meter reading so then hopefully once i send it they will decrease it!:) have a modern v.effiecent house :)

the old-style board is full of tips and inspiration (and no, it's not just about cleaning with vinegar!)

keeping a spending diary to record where every penny goes is another useful tip - it can help you see if there are areas to cut back on.
