Settling Some Debts! Advice Please!

Hi
Dont know if anyone can help. My sister (have posted before about her..lol) has had some debt recovery letters come through from Robinson Way & Co
for debts she told me that had already been paid  but thats a whole other story!
Anyway, in total they amount too around £1300, but in the letters they have offered her a final settlement of 33% and that she can pay this 33% over 3 months. It seems a little too good to be true and she is saying that if they want the money-she will go to court. She knows she owes the money and have explained that they will add court fees etc to the debt and the offer could be withdrawn-they have proof she owes the debt etc.
Does this mean she will get the £1300 debt reduced to £430, then she can pay over 3 months-so £143 x 3 months then debt free? If she pays this, will they or any other finance company be able to chase her for the other 66% in the future?
I am so annoyed at her, she promised all this was sorted 2 years ago (she owed alot more) and have helped her numerous times with groceries, kids clothes etc, and we dont have the money ourselves! Its more the fact that she lied and said she had no money because she had paid the debts and thats why we had helped her out.
I dont understand all this but am trying too. The debt I have is basically credit card stuff and reason we have tightened our belts is because Im now disabled and hubby FT carer. Never really had problems with debt companies etc so dont know how they work, but the letter she showed me was very polite and not demanding-has anyone heard of this company?
Many Thanks in advance.

Do they, has she seen this? including
statement of account
copy of original agreement
copy of default notice
if they are really offering 33% ( which sounds odd) I would suggest know they don’t have much faith in their ability to document or recover the full amount
you sure it is not 33% over 3 months to make the 100%
if it is the 33% then she needs to get a written statement that this is in FULL & FINAL payment of the account and no further action will be taken:rolleyes: It’s hard enough remembering my opinions - without remembering my reasons for them :rolleyes:0
