I bought a 26" Bush tft widescreen tv last week for spare room - the picture seems to distort a lot on some programmes - is this normal ?0
-
By distort do you mean people look fat/thin.
If you are watching analogue terrestrial then you need the screen size set to 4*3.
If you are watching freeview then set it to widescreen then most channels will be OK.
Some TV's are capable of switching modes automatically depending on the source but in my experiance the cheaper brands don't.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
We are on Virgin cable tv - the tv in sittting room doesnt do it.
Its like the image is causing double vision.
for instance when somebody moves the previous shot is still there - weird to explain really.
as the person moves you are still seeing the previous shot. like a blurring in the background. We have it set to widescreen - 4.3 makes no difference.0 -

I must admit I have had nothing but problems with Bush tvs and would not touch them with the proverbial bargepole.
Have you tried it with different sources e.g off-air and DVD0
